Tee times are currently set at 8 minute intervals but will be raised to 10 minute intervals from Sunday 7th June in order to comply with England's Golf recommendation of operating safe distancing.

Priority is being given to members and visitors are encouraged to call the pro-shop and speak to Grahame in person about tee times.

The Clubhouse

The clubhouse, bar and dining areas will remain closed for the foreseeable future. Nic our caterer is prepared to offer a collection service for those who want something as they go to the tee. Please order in advance by telephone 0191 285 3495 ( kitchen option) She is very grateful for the support she has had from members for her take-away service.

Gents Locker Room:

The Gents locker room will remain open, with social distancing on a “one in one out” basis. To implement this we will keep the doors open and to indicated that the area is in use we ask you to place one of your clubs against the door. However, for the time being we encourage members to take their golf clubs, shoes etc. home. The locker and toilet areas will be cleaned and sanitised on a regular basis. Paper towels are to be used and the hand driers have been taken out of service. Members should, if possible, get ready for play in the car park.

Ladies Locker Room:

The Ladies Committee will put in place appropriate safety measures for entry/exit of the locker room and communicate this to the members.

Course Cards

Only one person at a time should enter the Professional Shop to collect their own card and after play they must be deposited in the box outside the Professional Shop. If there is a need to purchase anything please pay by contactless payment where possible.

Bridle Path:

We advise that players use a protective glove when opening the gates. When crossing the bridle path, groups should walk single file on one side only to enable safe passing for members of the public.

End of Play:

Members are asked to leave as soon as possible after their round and not to stay around the clubhouse/practice green.
