From the moment you call to enquire about your visit our staff will deal with all of your requirements to ensure everything goes smoothly.

Motor vehicle access to the Club is from Broadway East then through the school car park. The access road is a public bridleway with priority for walkers, cyclists and horseriders. Please be aware that there could be several potholes along the road so do keep your speed low. There is ample car parking at the Club.

Location

Gosforth GC is situated in a secluded area in the leafy suburb of Gosforth about 3 miles north of Newcastle and less than 6 miles from Newcastle Airport.

A visit provides a great opportunity to visit the many attractions, renowned nightlife in the city centre and explore the glorious coastline of Northumberland.

Standard of Play

Visitors are expected to have some golfing ability, maintain a reasonable pace of play, comply with golf etiquette and the Rules of Golf. In the interest of the majority, anyone not playing to an acceptable standard or level of behaviour may be asked to leave the course.

Winter rules

AstroTurf mats and Preferred Lies Through January and February we introduce our fairway protection policy. Players playing from the fairway must use an AstroTurf mat or alternatively may place their ball in the rough.

Mobile Phones

When on the course, golfers are requested to switch their mobile phone to silent and not to use the phone to make or receive calls unless in an emergency.
