- Great Golf Course: the golf course at Gosforth Golf Club is great fun to play for golfers whatever their ability. There are interesting holes, picturesque holes and challenging holes. The terrain is generally level so it is not a gruelling course to play.
- Competitive Golf : being a member of Gosforth GC golf allows you to play regular ladies and men's club competitions throughout the summer season including medal, stableford, bogey, knockout and Texas scramble.
- Choose How Much You Play: if you don’t always have the time for 18 holes, you can choose only to play 9 holes or a smaller loop of 5 or 6 holes. And in the summer, you can tee off at 8pm and still play 18-holes.
- Thriving Seniors Section: Gosforth Golf Club has a thriving men’s Seniors Section with nearly 100 members. The Seniors Section welcomes new members and hold organised competitions on Monday and Thursday mornings. The Seniors Section also participate in regular competitive team matches against other clubs in the area which provides the opportunity to play different courses and socialise with golfers from other clubs in the area.
- Fantastic Ladies Section: Gosforth Golf Club has a fantastic Ladies Section with nearly 100 members. The Ladies Section welcomes new members and actively paticipates in Get into Golf initiatives which has led to an influx of new lady members in the last three years. The Ladies hold organised competitions on Tuesdays/Sundays and participate in regular competitive team matches against other clubs in the area. Gosforth Ladies has three teams entered in local leagues and knockout competitions which provides the opportunity to play different courses and socialise with golfers from other clubs in the area.
- Excellent Club Professional: The Club Professional, Grahame Garland is a qualified PGA golf professional who offers expert tuition and quality golf merchandise, always with a smile.
- Friendly Clubhouse Environment– our clubhouse is a great place for eating, drinking and socializing with your friends or family. Children are made welcome.
- Great Clubhouse Facilities: The Clubhouse Lounge facilities were upgraded in 2017 and the Ladies facilities were upgraded in 2018 and Gents Locker Room was completely renewed in 2018. SKY TV golf and football channels are available to watch in the clubhouse to allow you to see how the professional golfers play the game and to allow you to follow your favourite football team in a group environment with beverages and food available to sustain you through the joy and agony.
- Members Discount Card: Gosforth Golf Club members are issued with a card providing 10% discount off beverages at the bar.
- Clubhouse Extras: Gosforth Golf Club members can book the Clubhouse Dining Room and Lounge room for private functions at no cost (subject to availability). Social evenings take place regularly. Pool can be played in the bar area.
